Today, as a class, we planted 35 trees at Hide Away Park. Then we went to Cook Park and picked up litter!!! We had a great day.

AEP Kindergarten Class Earth Treasures:
Dear World and kids everywhere,
First, we talked about what an earth treasure is. We talked about how important our Earth is and how we have to keep our earth healthy and clean.
Red table says: "We also talked about how the world has treasures. Examples are: sticks, fuzzy carpet, dog wood, and lots of flowers.
Yellow table says: " The Earth is fragile, don't throw treasures on the ground. Hold it lightly."
Blue table says: "We learned that we need to keep the world healthy, so that WE and the animals can be healthy."
Orange tables says: (about the earth treasures) " They are pretty and we need them."
Purple table says: " taking care of the earth is important because we need are world to be healthy."
Green table says: "Our Earth treasures helps us, live, breathe, run, and have energy. They are also pretty."
We shared our Earth treasures with our friends and looked at them closely with a magnified glass!!
